Micca Dam

We took the Xterra as far north as Highway 23 would let us past Revelstoke, Askim and Sadie riding shotgun. Sadie’s a big, sweet Anatolian Shepherd mix, both of them rescues, and they treated the whole drive like it was their personal adventure. We found Micca Dam, watched a wolverine cross the road, and the whole stretch felt like the mountains were showing off. We loved it.

This bag is one of three that share the location of a magical place we’ve experienced. The back has the map and the coordinates—52° 04′ 50.7″ N, 118° 33′ 32.8″ W—so you can go find the dam and make your own version of the story. The fairy on the front is there to keep you from getting lost. The mushrooms are there in case you need a little inspiration (or an excuse to wander). Each bag goes to a different person. No more will be made.

Trip Hint: Stoping at Downie Creek Recreational Site is nothing but spectacular. Go for a swim.  It’s worth it.
