We are EOH Leathercraft — a tiny, passionate two-person workshop that turns raw hides into bags that feel like old friends.

It all started in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, on the wild edge of the Atlantic making wallets and belts on a plastic folding table in the living room on our time off.  We thought it would just be a past time, but the orders just kept coming.  Eventually Megan left her job and we opened EOH Leathercraft & Haberdashery in downtown Shelburne.  It was a dream that became reality, it became our life...

But something was missing.

Megan and I met up in British Columbia, surrounded by mountains that rise straight out of the valleys like ancient guardians. Nova Scotia gave us ocean, fog, and the friendliest people on earth… but our hearts kept pulling west toward those jagged peaks, the dry pine air, and the golden light that only the Southern BC can throw across the hills at dusk. So one day we packed up the tools, the hides, and every scrap of courage we had, and came home.

We landed in Okanagan Falls — a quiet, sun-drenched village tucked between vineyards and rock bluffs — and set up shop exactly where we belong. The mountains are right outside our window now, and every morning we feel that deep exhale of “we’re back.”

Everything we know about leather we taught ourselves the hard (and honest) way: late nights, YouTube tutorials paused and replayed a hundred times, trial-and-error that sometimes ended in tears and sometimes ended in pure magic. No fancy design school, no master mentor — just stubborn determination, sore fingers, and the belief that if we kept showing up, the leather would eventually start teaching us back. And it did.

Today every bag that leaves our shop — whether it’s the rich chocolate brown saddlebag you first showed us or the dusty-rose beauty hanging in the studio light — carries that whole story inside it: Atlantic salt, mountain air, YouTube marathons, and two people who refused to let distance or doubt stop them from building something real.

We make leather goods the old-school way: hand-cut, hand-stitched, and finished with the same care our grandparents would have recognized. But we design them for the women who walk their own roads — strong, independent, a little bit rebellious, and unapologetically themselves.

Welcome to the EOH family. We’re so glad the mountains finally brought us home — and brought you here too.

Let’s talk leather.
