Welcome to EOH Leathercraft ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website [www.endofheavy.com] (the "Site"), our products, services, and any related repair or warranty offerings.

By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from our Site, or by submitting any product for repair, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1. Use of Our Site

  • You must be at least 19 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Site or make purchases.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration or checkout.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion (e.g., for fraud, policy violations, or unavailability).

2. Products and Orders

  • All products are handmade from natural leather and other materials. Variations in color, texture, grain, and markings are normal and add to the unique character of each piece.
  • We make every effort to display accurate colors and details, but screen settings may cause variations.
  • Prices are in CAD and exclude taxes, duties, and shipping unless stated otherwise.
  • Orders are subject to availability. We may cancel or refuse orders due to pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.
  • Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier (or upon pickup for local orders).

3. Payment

  • We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay or Google pay, processed securely via Shopify.
  • You authorize us to charge the selected payment method for the total amount, including taxes and shipping.
  • All payments are final except as provided in our Return and Refund Policy or Lifetime Guarantee.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping times and costs are estimated and displayed at checkout.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control.
  • International orders may incur duties, taxes, or fees payable by you.

5. Repairs and Lifetime Guarantee

We stand behind our craftsmanship with a Limited Lifetime Guarantee on manufacturing defects for the natural life of the leather product, provided it is used under normal conditions.

What is covered:

  • Defects in materials (e.g., inherent flaws in leather causing premature splitting) or workmanship (e.g., stitching failure, hardware malfunction like zippers/snaps/rivets breaking under normal use).
  • We will repair the item at no charge to the original purchaser, or replace it if repair is not feasible (at our discretion).

What is NOT covered:

  • Normal wear and tear, patina development, scratches, scuffs, stretching, or natural aging of leather.
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper care (e.g., excessive water exposure, chemicals, heat, overloading), third-party alterations, or unreasonable use.
  • Cosmetic changes inherent to genuine leather.
  • Consumable or replaceable items (e.g., laces, if applicable) unless defective from manufacture.
  • Issues arising after resale or transfer of ownership.

Repair process:

  • Submit a repair request via Info@endofheavy.com or our contact form with your order number (or proof of purchase), photos of the issue, and description.
  • We will review and provide instructions, often including a prepaid return label for warranty claims.
  • Turnaround time is typically 4–8 weeks, depending on complexity and volume.
  • We cover return shipping to you for approved warranty repairs/replacements within Canada; international may incur additional fees.
  • For non-warranty repairs (e.g., custom alterations, wear-related fixes), we will provide a quote before proceeding. You approve and pay any fees upfront.

We reserve the right to determine whether an issue qualifies as a covered defect. Our decision is final.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site (photos, descriptions, designs, logos) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. User Content

  • If you submit reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote it.
  • You represent that your content does not infringe third-party rights.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product or repair service.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (e.g., lost profits, data loss).
  • Leather is a natural material; we make no guarantees against allergic reactions or specific durability beyond the Lifetime Guarantee.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of products, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any disputes shall first attempt informal resolution. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Vancouver, BC, under the rules of ADR Institute of Canada, or to courts in Vancouver if arbitration is unenforceable.

11. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
  • No waiver of any term constitutes a further waiver.
  • These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Return and Refund Policy constitute the entire agreement.
