The Elaho

We used to load Askim (our 65 lb reckless terrier cross)  into the Xterra and head up the Elaho. He’d plant himself on the white silt beaches like he owned it, mountains staring back from every side, and that campsite was so quiet it almost felt illegal. We loved the place. Askim especially loved the part where he could swim in the slow current for hours. 

This bag is one of three that share the location of a magical place we’ve experienced. The back has the map and the coordinates—50° 06′ 43.7″ N, 123° 23′ 39.3″ W—so you can go find the beaches and make your own version of the story. The fairy on the front is there to keep you from getting lost. The mushrooms are there in case you need a little inspiration (or an excuse to wander). Each bag goes to a different person. No more will be made.

Trip Hint:  Stop to enjoy the waterfall.  When you get close to the coordinates, take a left down a road that would lead you to the river.
