The Three Guardians a.k.a. 3 Fish

Inside this little teal purse live three betta fish who have never met.

On the front flap swims Shellbie — the cute one with the big eyes and the tiny castle. She believes she alone is the secret protector of everything you drop in the bag. Keys, lip balm, loose change… nothing escapes her quiet surveillance. She has plans within plans. She's kinda smug about it.

Somewhere in the middle floats Fuzz the Five-oh. He’s in a tiny police boat with the lights on, hat tilted, eyes closed. He is officially on duty. He is also extremely lazy. His entire strategy for protecting the purse is to look official and take long naps. So far it has worked perfectly, mostly because nothing has ever challenged him.

And the backside is guarded by Bosco. Huge fins. Intense stare. Permanent scowl. He flexes next to a little yellow sports car like he just stole it. Bosco is convinced the purse is his gym and that pure intimidation keeps your stuff safe. He has never lost a staring contest with a phone.

None of them know the others exist.

Each one is certain he is the only guardian. They take their jobs extremely seriously. They have never coordinated. They have never shared a shift. They have never even been in the same conversation.

And that is for the best.

Because if any of these three betta fish ever laid eyes on another… the fighting would start immediately. Fins flared. Water boiling. Absolute chaos inside your bag.

Until that day comes, they continue their secret, lonely, extremely important work — protecting your sunglasses, your keys, and whatever else you throw in there.

The purse is safe. For now.
